Intermediate Architect with Revit Experience


Handel Architects is currently seeking creative and multifaceted Intermediate Architect with Revit experience to join our team. The position is specifically seeking a candidates with strong to expert Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills and 3-7 years of professional experience. Candidates need to demonstrate participation on a minimum of two large scale projects developed in BIM. In addition to joining a project team that is designing/documenting a high rise mixed use tower, the job involves a leadership role through participation in a core group that can guide Handel to superior BIM documentation. Experience with interoperability between BIM and other environments is a valuable additional benefit.. Candidates must have strong communication skills and be comfortable working within a team.

Senior Technical Architect


Handel Architects is seeking a seasoned senior technical architect with 10+ years of professional experience. Experience in mixed-use mid or high rise development projects is required; detailing exterior envelope, interior detailing, coordinating specifications, and construction administration for same. Project Designer


We are currently hiring unique and energetic designers to join our studio, and collaborate in the design of large, complex mixed-use buildings.
Responsibilities:

  • Strong design skills
  • Ability to represent designs through visual media
  • Experience with multi-family, commercial and mixed-use buildings preferred

Architectural Designer (Associate)


Perform feasibility studies; Perform Schematic Design – programming, layout spaces, building massing; Design Development – detailed layout mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural details, coordinate with technical consultants; Create Construction Documents – details design and documentation with structural and mechanical coordination; interior design and documentation with material selection; include specifications for construction details and materials; Perform Construction Administration – review shop drawings and samples to deliver initial design intent; coordinate unexpected changes due to field condition and owner change; Use REVIT extensively for all phases; Perform project management tasks for specific projects as assigned; Review renderings and REVIT models done by Jr. designers and interns; Meet with clients and consultants ; Work supervised by a Registered Architect.

Paid Academic Internships


In addition to full-time employment opportunities, Handel Architects offers both summer and school year internships. Candidates for Internships should be currently enrolled in either a B. Arch. or M. Arch. program and have a maximum of two years remaining prior to graduation. Internships will also be considered for recent graduates from a professional degree program.

Summer employment is generally from end of May through mid to late August.

You will work with and report to the Director of Interiors by, mentoring and developing talent within our studio, and work with the Director and team members to generate design concepts.
